About..
Susanne Stukenberg is a passionate Tangodancer and a Tangoshoe designer who also loves to travel. She kicked off the project in November 2014 - and yes, "...there were some hard times, we went with very reduced groups of dancers - but we always went!" Next year we will go to 5 years Tango Holidays in Tunisia!.
Susanne´s Tangostory? After a few years of dancing tango in Europe, Mexico and Buenos Aies she started 2004 designing her own Tangoshoes in Buenos Aires where she originally went for a job interview. However, she decided not to take the job and just danced away, started designing her own tango shoe line working with the best craftworkers of Buenos Aires. Back in Germany she registered her brand NOSOLOTANGO. Until now she is providing the international Tangocommunity with the most important equipment for the dance, the shoes.
Her Tunisia story? Susanne has lived and worked in Hammamet in the early 90s. She returned in 2012 just one year after the "Arabic Spring" to Hammamet for a holiday to discover the most beautiful place for tangoing and exotic holidays topped with oriental flair in a real holiday oasis. Situated in a beautiful bay with clear blue water and a fortress from the 12th Century, the "Kasbah". Hammamet used to be called the "Côte D`Azur" of Africa in the early 1920s. Why? You find in Tunisia 1200 km of precious coastline, desert and a green peninsula called the "Cap Bon", where the resort is located. The Cap Bon is the "garden" of Tunisia and rich in vegetation and plantations on the far edge of the Atlas Mountains.
This years Tangoholiday in Tunisia will be the 5 year anniversary for a German group tangoing Tunisia. Come, celebrate with us.
